With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Daniel Sanchez of Blanco, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Daniel left this world on December 7, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the vast expanse of eternity, Daniel shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Daniel farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Concepción Sanchez and Leonor Sanchez; and his siblings, Dora and David. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Caroline (Kris), Patricia, William (Kristin) and Theresa; and his sister Sylvia. He is also survived by three grandsons and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Ferdinand Catholic Church (25 Main St, Blanco, TX 78606). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
