He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar Sawey and Novella Sawey. He is survived by : his significant other Mary Sawey (Dotson); his daughters, Deana Graham (Russell), Melissa Lombard (JR), Casandra Steele (Cassy) and Crystal Weber; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Bryan, Joseph, Wyatt, Emily, Hannah, Savanah and Trinity; and his great grandchildren, Hailey, Ella, Parker and Colton. He is also survived by cousins, relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Crofts-Crow Funeral Home - Blanco (911 Mesquite St, Blanco, TX 78606). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
