He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Shaw and Juanita Shaw; his wife Lily Shaw; his son Edgar Wayne Shaw, Jr.; his grandson Matthew Shaw; and his siblings, Doris Montgomery, Gary, Freddy and Randy Shaw.
He is survived by: his children, Roger W. Shaw (Jackie) and Suzanne C. Shaw; his grandchildren, Roger W. Shaw, II and Jenny N. Shaw; and his great grandchildren, Phoenix Wayne Shaw and Ella Rose Shaw. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
