With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Eckhardt Schwab of Blanco, Texas, born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on April 5, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. Edward H. Schwab Jr. and Helen Pickard Schwab; and his siblings, Edward Schwab III and Joan Padgett. He is survived by : his wife Carol Thomas Schwab; his daughters, Mary Beth Connolly (Keith Connolly) of San Antonio and Sarah Frances of Haines Alaska; his brother Bob Schwab of Kendalia, TX; and his grandchildren, Carson Kaufman of Portland, Caroline Connolly of Boston and John Connolly of San Antonio. He is also survived by other loving relatives and dear friends.
