He is survived by: his parents, Elpidio Barrera and Irma Delgado Barrera; his wife Josephine Barrera; his children, Beatrice Martinez, Isabel Barrera, Rigoberto Barrera and Guadalupe Barrera; and his siblings, Elpidio Barrera, Jr. (Janie), Jesus Barrera (Erica), Herminia Chalico (Mario, Sr.), Irma Moreno (Francisco, Sr.), Antonio Barrera (Lucy), Virginia Lopez (Ramon), Roger Barrera (Micaela) and Alfredo Barrera (Norma). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
