She was predeceased by: her parents, Benedict Kutach and Annie Kutach (Heinrich); her husband Louis Poessel; her former husband Johnnie Novak; and her sisters, Adela Farley (Virgil), Annie Orsak (Joe) and Thelma Orsak.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Novak (Judy) of Palacios, Richard Novak of Humble, Andy Novak (Mary) of Lake Jackson, Johnnie Marie Pechacek of Houston, Carolyn Sohr (Darrell) of Angleton and Theresa Henkes of Blessing; and her stepsons, Louis Poessel (Debbie) of Palacios and Danny Poessel (Kathleen) of Blessing. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
