She was predeceased by: her parents, Billie Cherry and Horace Eugene Cherry; her sister Terry Cherry; and her stepfather George Wacusek. She is survived by: her sister Linda Hendricks; her brother-in-law Erwin Hendricks; her daughters, Kimberly Hegwood, Terry Lee and Roberta Raymond; her son-in-law Matthew Raymond; her grandchildren, Brittany Hegwood, Brackett Hegwood and Rebecca Hegwood; and her great grandchildren, Trace, Cash, Jennings, Addison, Kolten and Owen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Calvery Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Twyla's memory may consider a donation to the Ladies Auxiliary Unit Post 649, the Blessing Historical Foundation, or the Midfield Community Church.
