Valdez; his son Ralph Valdez; his mother Natalia Martinez Valdez; his siblings, John Valdez, Olga Valdez Vasquez and Lydia Thomson; his grandmother Nabora Martinez; and his aunts, Consuelo Martinez Rubio, Martha Martinez and Goya Martinez Snider.
He is survived by: his children, Rachel Valdez, David "Roland" Valdez (Mary) and Rebecca Barrios (David); his grandchildren, Marcus Castillo, Joseph Castillo, India Castillo, David "Wedo" Barrios, III, Chris Barrios and Ryan Valdez; and his siblings, Israel Valdez, Joe Valdez (Elizabeth), Sam Valdez (Mary), Clarence Snider, Dorothy Snider Hodges, Robert Snider, John Snider and Mary Snider.
