She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Whitfield and Gladys Whitfield of Bloomington, TX; her brother Floyd Wayne Whitfield of Corpus Christi, TX; and her husband Tommy E. Gideon of Bloomington, TX.. She is survived by: her children, Tammy McGee (Jeff), Darlene Blanton (Dan) and Dale Gideon (Steven); and her brother Darrell (Connie). She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marie Whitfield Gideon, 87, of Bloomington, Texas died peacefully at her memory care home in Cypress, Texas, on June 6, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's.
