Richard Bielec Sr Obituary
RICHARD JOHN BIELEC, SR. 1927 ~ 2013 Victoria: Richard John Bielec, Sr., 85 of Bloomington passed away on August 15, 2013. He was born on October 26, 1927 to the late Valenta and Virginia Bielec in Wallace. Richard proudly served his county in the United States Navy and worked for Amerada Hess Petroleum. He served on the Bloomington ISD School Board, the Bloomington City Water Board and was a Deacon at First Baptist Church in Bloomington for a number of years and was currently attending Northside Baptist Church.
Richard is survived by his wife, Shirley Bielec; son, Richard John Bielec, Jr. of Houston, Glenn R. Eastwood (Dianne) of Lake Tahoe, CA and Kenneth W. Eastwood of Zavalla; daughter, Cynthia (Keith) Arnold of Midlothian; three grandsons and other extended family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn Green Bielec and sister Tillie Morris.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 12:30 to 2:00 P.M. and the Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 P.M. at Grace Funeral Home with Brother Tim Williams, officiating. Burial with a flag fold and presentation under the auspices of Victoria County Veterans Council, AL, CWV, VFW, DAV, MCL, MOWW, EX-POW, MOPH, VVA, and KWV will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Kenneth Eastwood, Jeremy Arnold, Robert Eastwood, Chris Cavazos and Steven Boyd. Honorary Pallbearers are Keith Arnold and Kevin Arnold. Memorials may be made to Northside Baptist Church Childrens Ministry or donor's choice. Arrangements under the care of Grace Funeral Home.
