She was predeceased by: her parents, David Junior Akehurst and Margaret Irene Miller Akehurst; her son Scott Bryant; and her brother Howard Akehurst. She is survived by: her daughter Marleena Proffer (Brian) of Quinlan; her grandchildren, Landree Proffer and Gage Proffer; and her brother Travis Bryant of Paris.
