He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris Thompson and Betty Pauline Thompson (Brunson). He is survived by: his wife Shelia Thompson; his sister Norrine Williams (Gary); his children, Lori Wells (Charles), Laci Thomas (Alan) and Lesa Thompson (Michael Dumont); his grandchildren, Mathew Wells, Kelsey Wells (Zane), Benjamin Thompson (Chloe), Bethany Thompson, Théophile, Elzéard, Gabriel, Neil, Josephine and Louis Thomas; his great grandchildren, Addley Sanchez, Laila Sanchez, Abel Thompson and Atlas Thompson; his nephew Michael Williams (Laura); his great-nieces, Amanda Boykin (Tim) and Christy Little (Blake); Canyon Little. He is also survived by numerous cousins and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the East Post Oak Missionary Baptist Church (5987 FM1502, Blossom, TX 75416). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
