Murel Pratt Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Murel Pratt (Blossom, Texas), who passed away on January 19, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Mayes and Maggie Mayes (Morris Pratt); her children-in-law, David Paris, Monte Johnson and Annette Pratt; and her siblings, Patsy Mayes, Louise Cunningham, Brenda Mauldin, Lucille Parker and Nolan Mayes.

She is survived by: her children, Pam Pratt, Randy Pratt, Becky McCoin (Jimmy), Kim Paris and Shelia Johnson; her grandchildren, Jeff Crabb, Kristin Byrd, Jason Crabb, Katrina Jenkins, Ryan McCoin, Ashley Buchanan, Paige Pechukas, Hayden Paris Pierson, Clint Johnson and LaShell Price; and her brother-in-law Raymond Mauldin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
