It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. Ballard of Blossom, Texas, who passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland W. Ballard and Cleda Lois Keener Ballard. He is survived by: his wife Loyce "Sis" Ballard; his children, Leann Mitchell (Keith), Randy Ballard (Roxanne), David Ballard (Nancy) and Danny Ballard (Emilio Uribe); his grandchildren, Deanna Bridges (Branson), Kim Suddeath (Eric), Kelli Gwaltney (Trey), Rance Ballard, Chance Ballard (Alexa), Chad Ballard, Jenni Kay Long (Zach) and Joey Ballard (Brooklyn); his great grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah, Eli, Rebecca Suddeath, Emily, Ben Bridges, Hudson, Haisley, Harper Gwaltney, Greta, Samuel, Sibylle Long, Tillie and Lorelei Ballard; and his brothers, Max Ballard (Carolyn) and Gary Ballard (Gwen).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pattonville Church of Christ, P. O. Box 5, Pattonville, TX 75468, for the benefit of Cameroon and Chad African Missions.
