He was predeceased by : his parents, Davie Crockett Hale, Jr. and Ruth Douglas Hale; his stepfather Audie M. Parks; his siblings, Joe Parks and Susan Parks; and his daughter Pam Hale.

He is survived by : his wife Anita Hale of Bluff Dale; his son Michael Douglas Hale (Wendy) of Austin; his grandchildren, Avery and Piper Hale of Austin; his cousins, Michael Douglas of Arkansas and Colleen Douglas of Missouri; his nieces and nephews, Matthew, Andrew Kosler, Jennifer Haynes and Autumn Bryant; and his children, Gail Campetti, Shih and Lexi.

In lieu of flowers, Dave would have loved it if you could make a donation to the Foster Children's Home in Stephenville or the Erath County Humane Society.
