He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Dodson of Marble Falls and Barbara Dodson; his wife Tiney Dodson; his sister Merle Martinka of Marble Falls; his daughters, Darnell Martin and Shirley Butler; and his grandsons, Ruben Dodson, John Henry Dodson and Troy Copeland.
He is survived by: his children, James (Nelda Dodson) and Darlene Dodson of Kingsland; his son-in-law Harry Sherwood; and his stepdaughter Dora Faye McKinney of Cedar Park. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many other friends.
