She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Gilbert Dupler and Mary Jean Dupler (Rauch); and her daughter Shannon Elizabeth Short. She is survived by: her daughter Nicole Aileen Bishop (Short); her husband Jack Edward Short; her son-in-law Bryan Bishop; her granddaughter Sloane Shannon Bishop of Boerne, Texas.; her sister-in-law Judy Dupler; her sibling's children, Jean Dupler, James Dupler, Jr. (Maryann) and Michael Dupler (Christina); her cousin Victoria Rauch Lichterman; her brother James Rauch Dupler; her nephew Mark Dupler; her uncle Frank Rauch, Jr. (Alma); and her aunt Aileen Rauch.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (631 S School St, Boerne, TX 78006).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to First Baptist Church in Alexis's name to support Vacation Bible School and other youth programs, continuing her legacy of caring and encouragement for future generations.
