With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Jean Silhan in Boerne, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 7, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Doris Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Doris Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George James Silhan and Lorene Vallie Dukatnik; and her aunts, Lillian Theresa Silhan and Margaret Martha Bartak. She is survived by: her brother James Edward Silhan; her aunt Georgia Webb; and her cousins, Linda Sisk (Steve), Jerry Silhan (Tammy), David Silhan (Sharla), Raymond and Mary Marek. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
