He was predeceased by : his parents, William Eppinger and Celesta Eppinger. He is survived by : his wife Sandra Eppinger; his daughter Dawnelle Gonzenbach (Jill); and his sons-in-law, Gary Gonzenbach (Jill Finnie) and David Finnie. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
