He is survived by: his wife Amy Brandis Colson; his son Andrew Colson (Courtney); his siblings, Diane Payne, Jody Inman (Larry) and Steve Colson (Leisa); and his sisters-in-law, Beth Stafford (Max) and Lora Brandis (Frank).
