With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Lee Varnado (Boerne, Texas), born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 31, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Clinton "C. B." and Ruth Davis Varnado; and his brother-in-law David Ferguson. He is survived by : his wife Cindy Cooper Varnado; his son Brandon (Christy); his grandsons, Easton and Hudson Varnado; his daughter Kyrn Martinez (Joey); his siblings, David Varnado (Jerry) and Sharon Ferguson; his nephew Garrett Ferguson; and his nieces, Kristen Crook, Jennifer Placke and Jessica Dunk.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in his honor to Ferehty's Troops First Foundation at http://www.troopsfirstfoundation.org.
