He was predeceased by: his parents, August Theis and Norma Palmie Theis; his wife Sandra Lanford Septmber; his son Rocky Lawrence; and his siblings, June McMichael and Kermit Theis.
He is survived by: his son Myles Theis of San Antonio.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fredericksburg Funeral Home (2278 S US Hwy 87, Fredericksburg, TX 78624). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church (115 E San Antonio St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Boerne Cemetery (820 N School St, Boerne, TX 78006).
