She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Dee Persons and Wreathel Long Persons. She is survived by: her husband Charles Leon Weir; her children, Tracey Weir Melcher (John) and Gregory Scott Weir (Wendy); her grandchildren, Tripp Melcher (Hayley), Holly Melcher Baird (Luke), Katie Weir Menchaca (Manny) and Libby Weir (Javier); and her great grandchildren, Elliott and Charlie Kate Menchaca.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sandy's honor to Stephen's Ministry, in care of First United Methodist Church of Boerne.
