It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William John Hurlbut (Boerne, Texas), who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. As William departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved William. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Hurlbut (Kennedy); and his children, Laura (Doug), Scott (Christine), Will (Neva), Michael (Charlene) and Jim.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (202 W Kronkosky St, Boerne, TX 78006). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boerne City Cemetery (700 N School St, Boerne, TX 78006).
