He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ebbs and Ethel Ebbs; his sons, Carl, Dale and Randy Brown; and his granddaughter Jennifer.

He is survived by: his wife Faye Ebbs; his children, Starla (Davey Griffis), Arlie Jr. (Teresa), G. W. Ebbs (Jennifer) and Debbie (Mike McClain); and his grandchildren, Paul, Jason, Lindsey, Billy, Kyle, Justin, Zach, Jessica, Morgan, Hunter, Rod, Tonya, Sandra, Bradley, Tenesa, Alicia, Cody and Josh. He is also survived by 33 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wood-Haggard Funeral Home (414 N Main St, Bogata, TX 75417). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at the Knights of Honor Cemetery.
