David Arno Vaughan Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on September 26, 2025, at the age of 73, David Arno Vaughan (Bogata, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennings Harley Vaughan and Pansy Mae Alsobrook Vaughan; his former wife Maria Guadalupe "Lupita" Yebra; and his wife Elizabeth Jean "Betty" Tomeo Vaughan. He is survived by: his son Christopher Daniel Vaughan (Angie Wetzstein Vaughan); his grandchildren, Grace Wilcox (Joe), Isaac (Abby), Noah, Jacob, Lily and Cana-Marie; his great grandchildren, Raphael Wilcox and Benedict Vaughan; his stepchildren, Ken Clawson (Linda), Julie York (Bill), Lori Orr (Mitch) and Harold Clawson (Leisa); his sisters, Sarah Vaughan Bardo (Robert "Bob") and Melissa Vaughan Smith (Todd); his nieces and nephews, Dillon Smith, Daniel Smith, Savannah Hughes, Maggie Smith Sifuentes (Luiz) and Tara Hughes Stewart (Adam); and his aunts, Helen Vaughan, Eleanor Vaughan Crawford and Mary Ann Vaughan Ward. He is also survived by 12 step-grandchildren, one great-nephew and three great-nieces.
In lieu of flowers if preferred, the family asks that donations be made to the Bogata Cemetery Association c/o Alice Ann White 104 Mt. Vernon Rd. Bogata, TX 75417.
