He is survived by: his wife Debra Valdez of Boling; his children, Angela Valdez of Boling and Vinson Valdez (Vanessa) of Humble; his brothers, Mike Valdez (Monica) of Sugarland, Marty Valdez (Cindy) of Sugarland and Johnny Valdez (Lisa) of Humble; his sister-in-law Ann Valdez of Sugarland; and his grandsons, Elijah, Michael Mancine, Alexander and Zachary Valdez.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wharton Funeral Home (515 E Boling Hwy, Wharton, TX 77488). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (2011 Briar Ln, Wharton, TX 77488). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (3511 E Alabama Rd, Wharton, TX 77488).
Over the course of the next 20 years of service as a deacon, he guided countless souls to Christ through his faith, hope and charity.
