He is survived by: his brother Elmo Davis; his wife Ila Davis; his children, Jim Davis (Sue), Debbie Kirkham (Rick), Bobby Davis and Faron Davis (Olga); his grandchildren, Tessa Simmons (Steve), Shonna Fagan (Rob), Crystal Davis (David), Chris Kirkham, Corey Davis (Shelby), IIeah Gregory (Eldon), Eric Davis, Cali Kirkham, IIeen Davis, Mila Davis and Daniel Davis; and his siblings, June McKee (Jack), Butch Mitchell (Judy), Coleena Shriver (Cliff) and LaVern Mason (Jerry). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wise Funeral Home (219 W Sam Rayburn Dr, Bonham, TX 75418). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Gober Cemetery.
