She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark McAlister and Thelma McAlister; her husband Clifford Starnes; and her brothers, Morris, Bill, James and Jack McAlister.
She is survived by: her children, Rickey Starnes (Vivian), Gary Starnes, Mark Starnes (Donna) and Dana Starnes McDaniel (Steve); and also Joyce. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown's Memorial Funeral Home (707 N MacArthur Blvd, Irving, TX 75061). A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens (1413 E Irving Blvd, Irving, TX 75060).
