He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Jefferson Layman and Thelma Layman (Beames) of Bokchito, Oklahoma.; his siblings, Wilma "LaTrelle" Boudreau (Russell "Bud"), Charline Goar (Johnnie), JoAnn Wallace (Chester), LaVonna Wallace, David "Chuck" Laymon, James "Toppy" Laymon, Gary Laymon and Michael Leroy Layman; and his nieces and nephews, Stacey Wallace, Stephanie Laymon, Tracy Wallace, Robert Laymon and Claudell "Bo" Burgess.
He is survived by: his friend Kenny; his sons, James B. Mullican (Valerie) and Thomas Barclay (Angela); his grandchildren, Sonji, Ben Mitcham, James A., Kourtni Mullican, Shelby Mullican, Samuel Mullican, Emilee, Jamie, Jeremiah, Josiah, Jasmyne, Skylar Caldwell, Garrett, Lilly, Landon Barclay and Gage Kerns; his sister Jackie Heinz (Duane); and his siblings-in-law, Sue Laymon and Ricky Wallace. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
