He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Daniel Purcell and Lois Eileen Jones-Purcell; and his wife Ann Purcell. He is survived by: his son Jeremy Wood (Amber); his granddaughters, Hannah and Kariann Wood; and his siblings, Lois Leininger, Mary Pat Purcell, Jeanne Purcell, Michael Purcell and Jim Purcell. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
