He is survived by: his wife Linda Vaught; his daughter Kristel Jech (Clint) of Dallas; his sisters-in-law, Peggy Vaught and Henrietta Fulenwider; his nieces, Cheryl Vaught, Suzanne Vaught, Lecia Malone (Larry), Amy Dawn and Stefane Carpenter (Rocky); his nephew John Vaught (Charlsie); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, J. D. Malone, Madeleine Malone, Katherine Voigt (William) and Maggie Vaught. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home (2022 N Center St, Bonham, TX 75418).
