With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bill Owen Jr. (Borger, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Bill departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Bill may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bill leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Douglas Owen, Sr. and Wanda Faye Harkins Owen; and his parent-in-law McNeal. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Owen of Borger; his children, Jason Owen (Cami) of Amarillo and Erica Kimble (Justin) of Dallas; his grandchildren, Abbi Brock (James), Charlotte Kimble and Benjamin Kimble; and his great grandchild Lennon Brock.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Borger (100 S Hedgecoke St, Borger, TX 79007).
In lieu of flowers his memory may be honored with a gift to the Opportunities Center, 930 Illinois St, Borger, Texas, 79007.
