He was predeceased by: his parents, Dica Lavauda McDaniel (Oldham) and Charlie McDaniel; his brother Charles McDaniel; and his granddaughter Abigail Celeste Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis McDaniel (Harbin); his children, Annette Cooper (Mark), Cynthia Grimmer (David) and Earl McDaniel (Venie); his brothers, Dr. James McDaniel (Nikki) and John McDaniel (Annette); and his sister-in-law Wyvonne McDaniel. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren.
