He is survived by: his wife Denna Eshbach; his sons, Bryan Wakefield (Julie) of Amarillo, David Wakefield of Fritch, Robert Johnston (Christi) of Amarillo and Aaron Johnston of Borger; his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jacelyn, Ceralyn, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Serenity and Haydyn; and his brothers, Tom Wakefield (Laura) of Spencer and Charlie Wakefield (Jan) of St. Paul, MN.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Westlawn Memorial Park (8745 TX-136, Fritch, TX 79036).
