She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dee Griffin and Artie Mae Griffin; and her husband Dennis Sanders. She is survived by: her sisters, Georgette Greene (Deon Greene) and Stephanie Gilbreath; and her sons, Artie Donnell Sanders (Stacey Sanders), Antwane Demille Sanders and John David Sanders. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
