It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathy Jean Garton of Borger, Texas, born in Dumas, Texas, who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mothers, Bonnie Hogan and Gretta Scott Hogan; her husband Donald Garton; her sons, Nick and David Garton; and her brothers, Jerry and Bill Hogan.

She is survived by: her sons, Brian Garton (Paula) of Fritch and Greg Garton (Jennifer) of Borger; her grandchildren, Jerad Stewart, Mackenzie Hanifin (Jacob), Alyssa Witt (Camren), Kaylor Garton, Abby Garton, Lance Tollison (Kenzie), Hunter Tollison and Saige Davis; her great grandchildren, Cohen, Wyatt and Brynleigh; and her siblings, Larry Hogan and Vera Brock (Wesley). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family, including those friends that were more like family that called her Mom and Memaw.
