It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda June Barnett (Borger, Texas), who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Beavers Scheller and A. G. Scheller; her granddaughter Cassandra Newton; her great grandchild Jeric Allen; and her siblings, Barney Scheller, O. D. Scheller, Bobby Scheller, Mary Bogart, Grace Anderson, Katy Anderson, Lorene Stuka, Martha Ozment and Patricia Brydle.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Barnett; her children, Annette Clifton (Rick), Donna Young (Casey) and Roger Barnett (Teresa); her grandchildren, Candra Acre (Jeremy), Eric Clifton (Madison), Jacob Clifton of Colin Morrison, C. J, Cody Young (Colbee), Malanie Mayberry and Jase Mayberry (Allie); her pet Penny; her great grandchildren, Callum Acre, Tatum Clifton, Rylan Morrison, Leyleigh Morrison, Jacelyn Bryan, Carter Young, Cade Young, Bently Stroud, Ryder Young, Kyx Young, Braxton Young, Jaira Allen, Jakobi White, Sutton Martinez and Sabre Mayberry; her brothers, Jack Scheller (Arlene) and Waylon Scheller (Barbara); and her brother-in-law Smokey Barnett (Margaret).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors - Borger (314 S Hedgecoke St, Borger, TX 79007). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Minton Memorial Chapel (314 S Hedgecoke St, Borger, TX 79007).
In lieu of flowers, her memory may be honored with a gift to a charity of choice.
