She was predeceased by : her parents, Tommy Allen and Lillie Mae Shelton Allen; and her daughter Lori Walls. She is survived by : her husband Glenn Hughes of Fritch; her children, Michael Hughes of Plainview, Gary Hughes of Fritch, Robert Hughes of Fritch, Jenie Gannaway (Gene) of Fritch and Lucy Clark (Stacy) of Fritch; and her siblings, Ray Allen (Terry Jean) of Alpine, Frances Collins (John) of Isabel and Kay Dickey (Richard) of Amarillo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Minton Memorial Chapel.
