She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Gaytan and Maria Elena Munoz Gaytan; her husband Manuel G Ortiz; her son Manuel Ortiz, Jr.; and her brother Jose Gaytan.
She is survived by: her children, Francisco (Alma Ortiz), Jose Ortiz (JoVetta), Bertie Loera of Kingsville and Christina Ortiz of Borger; and her grandchildren, Marcus, Jose, Damian, Alyis, Zylah, Francisco, Jr., Sophia, Briana, Manuelito, Allison, Alicia and A. J.. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors - Borger (314 S Hedgecoke St, Borger, TX 79007). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Minton Memorial Chapel (314 S Hedgecoke St, Borger, TX 79007).
