He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Shelton and Delmar Shelton; his siblings, Peggy Burks and Lem Shelton; and his sister-in-law Sue Smith Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Del Shelton of Stinnett, Deanna Shelton of Issaquah and Juhree Shelton Knowles of Glen Rose; his brothers, Joe Shelton of Borger and Sam Shelton (Carolyn) of Fritch; and his sister-in-law Gina Shelton of Borger. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
