With sadness, we share the passing of Loy Lee Harris in Bovina, Texas. Loy, born on June 24, 1940, passed away on August 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harris and Iona Harris (Rogers); his siblings, Doris Faye Hood (Don) and Billy Bob Harris (Dorothy); his brother-in-law Rev. R. P. Thompson; his parents-in-law, George Y. Allen and Billie Marie Allen (Claborn); his sister-in-law Susan (Clarence); and his grandson Brandon.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Boydstun; his children, Brad Harris (Tracy), Michelle Frey (Bret) and Angie Bryant (Michael); his grandchildren, Braden, Patrick (Lydia), Zachary (Tarah), Makenzie, Ella, Olivia, Nick, Ava and Ivy; his sister Betty Thompson; and his sister-in-law Kristi (Frank). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Council Road Baptist Church's General Fund in memory of Loy Harris.
