He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Wood and Eula Wood (Palmer). He is survived by: his wife Gracie Wood; his daughters, Christi Britt and Charity Wimberly (James); his stepson James Wood (Kayla); his grandchildren, Anne Marie, Bethany, Sean Wood and Sadie Britt; and his siblings, Sheri Foster and Bobby Wood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White Family Funeral Home (1418 TX-59, Bowie, TX 76230). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Hospice, or a charitable organization of choice.
