He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Kay Brown Smith; his parents, Roy Smith and Beverly Lyons Smith Lee; and his brother Larry Smith (Caroline). He is survived by: his children, Shannon Smith-Green of Lake Bridgeport and Sean Smith (Carter Covington); his grandchildren, Hailey Green of Azle and Cormac Covington-Smith of Los Angeles; his great grandchild Elliana Long of Azle; his sisters, Wanda Burkhardt (Gaylon) of Denton, Drucilla Smith of New Brighton, MN and Denice Lucente (Bill) of Waukesha, WI; and his close friend Geraldine Shadburn of Bowie. He is also survived by many loving extended family members and more friends.
