It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jaylene Lovette (Bowie, Texas), who passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jasper Jehu and Mildred Victoria Freeman Savage; her foster parents, Mel Clayton and Clementine Clayton of Baily; her spouse Lum Jack Lovette; her foster brother John Powell Clayton; her siblings, Glen Estell Savage, Emmit Durward Savage, John Hamilton Savage, Howard Ray "Jack" Savage, Otis Freeman Savage, Bernard Weathersby Clayton, Gene Clayton, John Powell Clayton, Billye Hope Savage Brackett and Joe D. Clayton; and her children, Linda Mesler (Tracy) of Nocona, Vicki Jones (Tony) of Bowie, Claire McWilliams of Irving and Ben Lovette (Mary) of Wichita Falls.
