He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Harmon Stephens and Zela Marguerite Walters Stephens; and his siblings, Ace, Benny Stephens and Betty Brady.
He is survived by : his wife Beverly Denton; his sons, Charles Stephens (Shirley) and Michael Stephens; and his grandchildren, Michael D. Stephens, Stacy Snyder and Terri Turner. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
