He was predeceased by: his parents, Leyhman Mayo and Melba Mayo. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Mayo of Sunset, Texas; his children, Clay Mayo (Caralisa) of Woodville, Texas, Shanah Hendricks of Chicago, Illinois, Colt Mayo and Erica Parker of Ardmore, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Cason Mayo of Hubbard, Texas, Caylie Mayo of McCamey, Texas, Carlie Mayo of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Cougar Mayo of Woodville, Texas and Ember Caldwell of Ardmore, Oklahoma.; and his siblings, Dennis Mayo (Linda) of Sadler, TX, Larry Mayo and Tressie Abbott.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White Family Funeral Home (1418 TX-59, Bowie, TX 76230). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at bloodcancerunited.org in Lenard's honor.
