She is survived by: her brother Leon M. Whittaker; her children, Thomas Deane (Keko) of Japan and Michelle Tran (Nghia) of Texas; her grandchildren, Kaji of Japan, Amanda (Matthew) of Texas, Ashleigh of California and Curtis III of Colorado; and her great grandchildren, Landon and Madelyn.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
