He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert M. Nichols and Lois Mable Nichols (Hardaway). He is survived by: his wife Susan Pearson; his children, David Nichols, Logan Nichols and Taylor Galvan; and his stepdaughters, Tammy Kelly and Debra Stevens. He is also survived by grandchildren; and numerous cousins.
