He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobbie Simmons (Landers) and William Simmons; his sisters, Diana Ward and Debra Hardin; and his grandson Colten King.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Simmons; and his children, Cheri Storrs (Eddie), James Simmons (Monica), Richie Simmons (Shelley), Kelly Wysong (Mike), Andy Hatcher (Tanya), Paula Boswell and David Hatcher. He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
